Join me in my studio for a unique, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your very own ceramic cabbage bowl from start to finish. This intimate class is limited to four participants, giving you plenty of space, guidance, and creative focus.
In the first session, you’ll form your bowl using locally sourced cabbage leaves to imprint beautiful natural textures into the clay. Once your piece has dried, I will fire it for you.
During the second session, you’ll return to the studio to glaze your bowl with a rich, vibrant green glaze before it receives its final firing.
Both workshops take place in my studio on the beautiful Balcaskie Estate (KY10 2RD) near Pittenweem. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Workshops
I have led workshops in schools and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings, and have been part of festivals such as Latitude and Playspace. I have also conducted workshops in institutions like the V and A Museum, National Portrait Gallery, and Museum of Science and Industry, often in collaboration with Sinfonia Viva. These workshops span a range of creative activities including large-scale drawing, printmaking, stop-frame animation, creature creation, t-shirt designing, experimental drawing, kite making, and marbling. Here’s a selection of work from a range of these workshops and if you would like me to run a workshop at your school/gallery/wildlife park etc please get in touch:
