I love transforming spaces with unique artwork, making them truly special. Below, I've provided some options for choosing the type of tile that's right for you.

I typically charge a commission fee of £150, plus the cost of the tile and shipping, for small projects up to 30 tiles. For larger projects, please send me an email so we can discuss the options.

Whether you are looking for artwork that is a frieze (over several tiles) or individually designed tiles I love coming up with new ideas or developing a theme. Please get in touch with the sort of artwork that you might like and the type of tile you would want to work with outlined in the options below.

Abstract painting of a flower with six legs, layered over white shapes on a textured brown background. Terracotta tile wilth slip.

Option 1

Handmade Tiles

I use terracotta or buff stoneware to create these tiles, each one being handmade from start to finish. Designs are applied with a slip or underglaze which emphasises the hand-finished quality of each tile. With a lengthy process—that includes forming, drying, firing and decorating—this option has a turnaround time of ~3 months.

Handmade tiles can be made to any size please contact me, for guidance:

110 x 110 x 9mm at £30 each

150 x 150 x 9mm at £36 each

Abstract floral painting with yellow, pink, and beige brushstrokes on a small canvas.

Option 2

Pre-made Tiles

Using pre-made bisque tiles provides greater uniformity and at a lower cost while still maintaining a handmade feel. I underglaze the tiles in my usual style, resulting in a beautiful, loose and washy decoration. This option has a turnaround time of about 1-2 months.

100 x 100 x 9mm at £22 each

150 x 150 x 9mm at £28 each

A piece of paper with a black ink illustration of a moth, with its wings resembling haunted house windows, and its head and antennae forming the top of the illustration.

Option 3

Decals

Decals are a good option for large areas or when fitting tiles into spaces with pre-existing manufactured glazed tiles. New artwork is fused onto the new tiles through an additional firing and results in a ‘cleaner’ look. This option works particularly well for large friezes and typical turnaround is 1-2 months.
